Ansoft Designer® is an integrated schematic and design management front-end for Ansoft's best-in-class simulation technologies, Nexxim®, HFSS™, Q3D Extractor®, and SIwave™. Ansoft Designer is the foundation for a highly accurate design flow that allows users to precisely model and simulate complex analog, RF, and mixed-signal applications and perform signal-integrity analysis and system verification of high-performance IC/package/board designs. This flexible, easy-to-use software includes schematic capture and layout editing, netlist generation, a planar electromagnetic solver (Method of Moments), and sophisticated data visualization and analysis tools.

Designer SI - Signal Integrity Analysis Product Suite

The signal integrity analysis suite offers a subset of Ansoft Designer and Nexxim, Ansoft's advanced high-capacity circuit simulator technologies for engineers designing high-speed serial interfaces such as XAUI, XFI, Serial ATA, PCI Express, HDMI, and FB-DIMM. The Designer SI option also includes the 2D Extractor, which allows the user to extract the parasitics of transmission line cross-sections and include them in the circuit analysis. Engineers that do not require the complete feature set available in Ansoft Designer and Nexxim products but desire a tailored solution that leverages Ansoft's expertise in advanced circuit simulation and electromagnetic field simulation to reliably characterize and design complex serial channels can use Designer SI. For those interested specifically in a circuit simulation solution, the Designer SI Circuit option will satisfy their needs. Both Designer SI and Designer SI Circuit include Ansoft's powerful QuickEye and VerifEye capability that provide statistical analysis and transient simulation capabilities to rapidly characterize high-speed serial channels.
